Haiti - Reconstruction : 2 Community Centres ready for the project 16/6 04/12/2013 09:27:34
For nearly 18 months that the communal platforms, responsible for planning the project 16/6, have been implemented and validated by the authorities and communities, the community leaders who compose them met everywhere, under trees, in the course amid the debris... Today, with the completion of community centers of Morne Hercule and Jalousie built by "Entrepreneurs du Monde" with funds from 16/6, the platforms have to be proud of that infrastructure that lacked them to improve efficiency. About 3 months have passed since the launch of the work that should be completed during the next week, according to Jean Arnaud Vixama Coordinator of communal platforms.
Community Centre of Morne Hercule
Community Centre of Jalousie Each center will have a room for the reception, one for meetings of the platform and the various Committees of neighborhoods responsible responsible among others for the management of water, electricity, lighting, sanitation, and recreational spaces. These rooms will be all equipped to promote the proper functioning of the Centre.
