Haiti - Culture : Exhibition «Nou se Haiti» in Providenciales (Turks and Caicos Island)

The products of 25 Haitian artisans will be exposed to Turks and Caicos, in the context of a sale-exhibition, organized by the Consulate of Haiti on 21 and 22 December 2013, at the conference room of the Regent Village, Grace Bay Providenciales under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Haiti.

This exhibition, the first of a series of cultural activities of the Consulate which aims to make know Haiti in its best image, responds to the desire of the Government Martelly-Lamothe to promote the richness and diversity of alents of Haitian artists and artisans by offering them the opportunity to exhibit their products and find new markets. Beads and sequins, paper mache, sewing and embroidery, carved iron, pottery, basketry, fabric painting, jewelery, bags and sandals... will be exposed to the first edition under the theme "Nou se Haiti".

This activity was made ​​possible through the support of: Sunrise Airways, Unitransfer, Wine Cellar, Spendless Market, PTV, "TCI SunTV / Newspaper", "Magnetic Media and SakapFet TCI."
