Justin Viard, the Consul General of Haiti in Montreal, informs the Haitian community in particular and the public in general, that a memorial service will be sung in honor of the victims of the earthquake that has hit Haiti Jan. 12, 2010.

This commemoration is an opportunity for us to collect, in respect for the memory of the thousands of brothers and sisters who have disappeared in this drama. "The solidarity you have shown in this memorable day in our history, can not be dependent on a fleeting emotion, but still needs to translate this pledge of commitment to our homeland.

Gather us, Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 17:00 in the Church of Our Lady of Haiti, located at 10946 St-Vital, Montreal-Nord, to make of our thoughts and our prayers, the most beautiful tribute to those who passed from life to death on that unforgettable day.

Haitian, and all those who feel concerned by this sad memory, walk united towards a Haiti regenerated."
