Wednesday the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) with the Groupe Croissance and Synergies (Fair organizer), launched the second edition of the Entrepreneur Fair which will take place in the premises of the University Quisqueya (in Turgeau) 24, 25 and 26 January 2014, under the theme "Let's make Haiti a Entrepreneurs Republic". This fair to which will participate, public institutions, schools and universities, aims to strengthen the private business sector and encourage Haitian entrepreneurs to invest in sectors with economic growth potential.

Michelet Comeau, Deputy Director General of MEF took the opportunity to present the main topics that will be on the agenda of MEF during this show :

• Presentation of the investment framework ;

• The macroeconomic outlook ;

• A draft of the law on BPP ;

• Facilitation made ​​by Customs ;

• Public Private Partnership (PPP) ;

• Taxation of companies.

In addition, the MEF will take advantage of the event to award "honor and merit" plaques to the two business identified as the largest tax payers of Haiti, FY 2012-2013.
