Haiti - Health : Taiwan donated 6 ambulances


Haiti - Health : Taiwan donated 6 ambulances

Wednesday, Tsai-chiu Hwang, Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in Haiti, delivered a donation of 6 ambulances to Dr. Florence Duperval Guillaume, Minister of Public Health and Population (MSPP).

These 6 ambulances are offered by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of China (Taiwan) through its Global Medical Instruments & Support Service Program which aims to promote the health system of friendly countries, through the provision of medical equipment.

Minister Guillaume welcomed this gesture of solidarity of the Taiwanese Government, noting that the donation of ambulances, will contribute to strengthening the capacity of community health systems.

Recall that within the framework of this program, the Taiwanese Government had already provided two containers of medical equipment to the MSPP and 1 container of medical equipment to the Hospital of the Office of Insurance Work Accident, Sickness and Maternity (OFATMA).
