Like every year since 5 years, at the end of March, the Festival Kont anba tonèl, open at Port-au-Prince for a feast of the imagination. Tellers from here and elsewhere we tell stories where the wonderful blends into reality. This year, Guadeloupewill be featured from 25 to 29 March 2014 with the writer storyteller M'Bitako, which offer us a journey into the imagination Guadeloupean.

On Tuesday, the Festival will opens on Jérémie Square, in Bas-peu-de-chose, with two performances of tales of Chelson Ermoza and Staloff Tropfort aka "Estalove Wòklò" and a performance of "Symbi Roots" (ex-Rara fanm) of Dieuvela Etienne.

The main novelty of this edition is the tale sidewalk (Kont twotwa). The choice of this space announces the new direction of the Festival in the years to come. It will take place in public squares, street corners, sidewalks. For the organizers, the tale can not be locked into traditional and conventional places, it must be made accessible to a wider audience.

To this novelty will be added this year : the introduction of rara with "Symbi Roots", of the puppet with Ernst St-Rome, slam with the collective "Feu vers" and the staged reading with "Troupe Nous Théâtre" of Guy Régis Junior.
