Haiti - Politic : Tour of President Martelly in Pilate, Port-Margot and Borgne

On Friday, President Michel Martelly, conducted a one-day tour in the North, especially in the municipalities of Pilate, Port-Margot and Borgne where he met the population around the development of these areas.

Accompanied by Philippe Cinéas, Secretary of State for Public Works, the Head of State, hosted by the Departmental Delegate North Ardrouin Zephyrin, of Deputies Périlus Worms (Pilate) and Jude Charles Faustin (Port Margot / Borgne) has expressed concern over the situation of these people, reminding them the quantity of work to do, the access to education for job creation, tpassing by the eradication of extreme poverty, social inclusion, creation of road infrastructure for community development...

In Pilate where he visited a new community restaurant, the Head of State promised, among other things, the construction of road infrastructure, the completion of the construction of the Public Square and the Lycée of Pilate and reiterated its determination to continue to serve the people.

The President, who listening in the evening the Port-Magotiens, pledged its full support for access to drinking water in Port-Margot, the fight against environmental degradation, the reconstruction of the police station and the public market. He asked the Port Magotiens to participate in this process, in particular by maintaining a serene social climate that can facilitate investment...

The municipal authorities of Pilate, Port-Margot and Borgne, while acknowledging the presence of the Head of State and his commitment to the development of their community, have mainly argued for the creation of roads and school infrastructure.

In addition, the Head of State, took advantage of his visit to award several scholarships of first cycle.
