In a note, Réginal Delva, the new Minister of Interior and Territorial Communities, informs that within the framework of the extension and modernization of passport personalization systems, in compliance with international standards, the production services of the Department of Immigration and Emigration (DIE) will be unable to produce passport books between 21 and 25 April 2014.

However, the Ministry through the Directorate of Immigration and Emigration (DIE), reassuring the public about the continuity of operations of reception of applications, production and delivery of passport in Haiti.

The Interior Ministry appeals to the understanding of the population relating to this measure and renews its commitment to provide better services at the cutting edge of technology.
