In her speech, Sophia Martelly, thanked Digicel Foundation for having responded with dedication at the request of the Haitian government, to have this brand new school infrastructure in Golas. She also asked the students to take their studies seriously, because education is the key to the future. "Pa gen okenn fason nou ka reyisi lavi nou si se pa chimen lekòl nou pran. For her part, Ms Josepha Gautier congratulated the First Lady for the sustained attention paid to the construction of this school, while Charles Sincère urged local people to protect it and keep it in good condition.

Recall that the School Maranatha of Golas, built in 1946 by the Evangelical Baptist Union Mission in Haiti (UEBH) was in a state of total disrepair, and that this new school with a modern and attractive building, followed a visit of the First Lady in this locality, March 21, 2013.
