Haiti - Politic : Important set of measures in ONA
The new Directorate General of the National Office of Old Age Insurance (ONA), takes things in hand and adopted an important set of measures aimed at strengthening the administrative capacity of the Institution, "clean" its finances and begin an extensive program of modernization through the use of new technologies.
These measures include: The repatriation of all accounts in state banks; the suspension of broadcasts of its commercials spot in rotation in the media; the recovery of vehicles purchased with his own funds, in accordance with the recommendations of the Unit for Combating Corruption (ULCC) at the end of the investigation report on the ONA published in June 2014; the provisional discontinuation of job applications; the freezing of discretionary spending (grant, donation, allocation); the preparation of a plan to provide services to agricultural workers and to encourage professionals working on their own and citizens in the diaspora to register as self insured; the general computerization of its systems and the launch of its services online (payment by credit card, account inquiry, registration etc...; the reopening and reorganization of mortgage loans service; the launch of new products and strengthening the program of micro-credit ONAPAM throughout the territory.
