Haiti - NOTICE : D-5, Carnival of Flowers 2014, nonworking days

"The General Secretariat of the Presidency bring to the attention of the general public that by presidential decree dated July 17, 2014, are declared legal holidays and nonworking days for the festivities of the Carnival of Flowers, which will take place on 27, 28 and 29 July, the day of Monday, July 28, 2014, starting at noon and that of Tuesday, July 29, 2014, in its entirety."

To 5 days of the event nearly 1,500 people (makeup artists, dancers, designers, artisans, painters, choreographers and artists) working on final details for the Carnival of Flowers 2014 is a success. The masked groups, multiply the practice sessions while construction stands advancing apace, preparations are well underway at the Champ de Mars.

12 musical groups will take part in carnival parade on the Champ de Mars : Anbyans, Barikad Crew, Carimi, Chalè, Djakout #1, Koudjay, Kreyol La, K-Zino, Rockfam, Team Lobey, T-Micky and T-Vice.
