Recent decisions of the Government of Haiti concerning the extension of Haitian passport expired and the cost reductions for certain services, begin to be implemented. Note that these decisions affect all Consulates and Embassies of Haiti around the world.

Consulate General of Haiti in French Guiana :

"The Consulate General of Haiti in French Guiana brings to the attention of the Haitian community in Guyana, that following a note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship, we are forbidden to extend passports expired.

It is noted that any citizen with a Haitian passport, must apply to the Consulate the issuance, of a new, six months before its expiry.

According to the latest decisions of the Head of Government, His Excellency Laurent Salvador Lamothe to the 9th edition of 'Gouvènman an lakay ou' held in Miami Saturday, July 19, https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-11628-haiti-politic-in-miami-the-government-makes-commitments-for-the-diaspora.html fees for the issuance of archives extracts were modified following the grid below :

Dollar area: from U.S. $ 170.00 to U.S. $ 100.00

Euro area : from 130.00 Euros to 75.00 Euros"

Dominican Republic : from U.S. $50.00to U.S. $22.00

Embassy of Haiti in Argentina :

"The Embassy of Haiti in Argentina inform the Haitian community in Argentina that, in accordance with decisions adopted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship, our consular service is no longer authorized to extend Haitian passports. Haitian citizens with expired passport must request of the consular service the issuance of a new passport.

It should be noted that in the event of an emergency requiring a Haitian citizen to travel immediately, our consular service may issue a roadmap only for the purpose of traveling to Haiti. This road, which is only a temporary travel document, can not be used to leave the territory of Haiti.

The Embassy of the Republic of Haiti in Argentina thanks the Haitian community in Argentina for their understanding and took the opportunity to renew the assurances of its patriotic consideration."
