The rehabilitation works of streets of Marchand-Dessalines, commune of Artibonite Department, funded by Petrocaribe funds are about to be completed, confirms us the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation (MPCE). The progress of these works under the project management of MPCE is estimated at 80%.

The rehabilitation of the road network already asphalted, constitutes, according to the population, a milestone for the socio-economic development of the municipality, which is heavily focused on agriculture [rice, tomato, Lalo (okra), among others...] , agribusiness and ecotourism.

With these works, the Government continues to improve vulnerable areas, which have never been affected in the past, in order to improve the image of the country, while improving socio-economic conditions of the population.
