Monday in Ouanaminthe, Wilson Laleau, Minister of Commerce and Industry (MCI), Jean Fritz, President of the Chamber of Commerce North East, the departmental delegate, Hugo Charles, Hugo Charles, as well as the first employees of the Support Service for Businesses SAE), were welcomed by the mayor of Ouanaminthe, Rony Pierre.

Following their participation in the orientation and integration seminar hat took place from July 13 to 19, the first employees took place in the city, with a mission to assist citizens and explore with them the investment opportunities in the department.

Launched on June 13 by the Minister Laleau https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-11359-haiti-news-some-news-here-and-there.html , the objective of the SAE is to provide an integral support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the accounting and financial management of enterprises, formalization, the creation of value chains and strategies for market development and competitiveness.

The departmental delegate did not fail to congratulate the Minister Laleau for this initiative "There are ten years ago, if someone had told me that the country's development would begin with the Northeast, I would have never believed it. But by this act, today of Haitian government, that I congratulate, to install first these young professionals here in Ouanaminthe, it's the institutional reform long been expected."

While welcoming the employees of SAE, Fritz Jean, declared "The SAE is a dialogue between the Haitian government and the Chamber of Commerce of Haiti. The integration of this service is considered as another way to equip the Chamber of Commerce."

As the Minister Laleau, who accompanied the young executives of SAE, from their selection to integration, he especially stressed in his statement on the value of the locals in the economy "Let me tell you what to do with the economy, it's motivating the people there where they live, is to talk about investment and job creation [...] I therefore ask you, Youth of Support Service for Businesses, of results. I assure you it is not a gift because you will be evaluated every three months."

Note that the installation of these executives in the Northeast, is a first for MCI, which intends to install Support Service for Businesses (SAE) in the 10 departments of the country, an initiative supported by the World Bank to the tune of 2.5 million dollars.
