Following the launch on July 21, of the Programme of Identification and Documentation of Haitian Immigrants (PIDIH) initiated by the Ministry of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE) together with the Haitian National Archives (ANH) and the National Identification Office (ONI) and the Directorate of Immigration and Emigration (DIE), nearly 300 of our compatriots in an irregular situation in the Dominican Republic received, Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, identification documents, including their Haitian passport, allowing them to enroll in the National Plan of Regularization of Foreigners (PNRE).
