Haiti - Politic : The President Martelly will complete his term with or without Parliament

Tuesday at the Prime Minister's Office, Me Michel Brunache, the spokesman of the Prime Minister stated that the Executive rejected any idea of ​​extending the mandate of parliamentarians after January 12, 2015, saying that the decision would be unconstitutional and that the Head of State will remain in his position, recalling that "[...] For more than 200 days, there is a vote, which is blocked at the Senate, this is what makes the parliament will be dysfunctional [in January 2015], at that time, as I have always said, the only legitimate authority that remains is the Executive and on the basis of Article 136 [...] the President will continue to run the State [...]" Article 136 of the Constitution states that "The President of the Republic, Head of State, ensures compliance and enforcement of the Constitution and institutional stability.
