Haiti - Politic : Discord within the opposition in Petit-Goâve
On Monday, the organization « Fos Pep » ffiliated to the Joint Liberation Front (FML) of Petit-Goâve, strongly criticized on Radio FM preference, behavior of leadership of FML, which would practice a policy of exclusion and sidelining of grassroots organizations.
The Coordinator of "Fos Pep" declared "Since the talks with the Minister of the Interior https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-12251-haiti-politic-toward-an-out-of-the-crisis-in-petit-goave.html , the Executive Committee of the FML has never met with affiliated organizations... Us, members of Fos pep we will act and we will regain the streets, if by Wednesday, October 15, the Executive Board of the Joint Liberation Front, does not give us a clear explanation of certain rumors circulating through the city [...] ur fight goes beyond the town hall of Petit-Goâve... We want to change the present system... With or without the FML, we will continue the fight... Stressing that the leaders of the FML, had proposed to the Minister of the Interior, without any consultation, new names to replace the current cartel of Petit-Goâve. Describing the leaders of FML "of impostors and mercenaries who defend their narrow interests..."
