Haiti - Politic : The G77 leaves the MOPOD

Frantz Résigné, Head of Mobilization for the Groupe 77, announced that the Groupe was leaving the "Patriotic Movement of the Democratic Opposition" (MOPOD), which brings together opposition parties.

He reproaches among others to the Spokesperson, Me André Michel to have an undemocratic attitude, to take inconsistent political positions, to represent the G77 within the MOPOD without consultation nor report to the Group, and finally use the MOPOD to solve his personal affairs, especially against the Head of State.

The G77 now asks Me André Michel, to no longer speak publicly on behalf of G77 "Let him do his way and us ours," declared Frantz Résigné, who recalled that the Groupe and that the G77, which has just joined the "Democratic Platform for peace and stability" had every intention to participate in future elections.
