The Directorate General of Electricity of Haiti (EDH) apologized to its customers in particular and the public in general for the inadvertent rationing noted for several days in the metropolitan area. It also wishes to advise that the cuts were caused by faults on its distribution circuits.

EDH wishes to inform that its teams have already restored electricity on the majority of circuits and that those who are still defective, are being repaired to satisfy the customer in the shortest time.

EDH understands that this is a major inconvenience for its customers and reassures him that all arrangements are made to allow it to enjoy of electrical power properly.
