The Ministry of Health recalls that it exists in Haiti, a modern structure specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, that provides free care to the Haitian people.

The Haitian Institute for Rehabilitation Gérard Léon located in Bon Repos, National Road #2, rovides adaptation and rehabilitation services to the community Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm in order to reduce or eliminate through prevention, cases of avoidable disability.

This Institute, open to all, including occupational therapy services, audio speech therapy, orthotics and prosthetics workshop, ambulatory care, psychology and social assistance.

It facilitates in addition for free, the integration of people suffering from disabilities and responds to the wishes of the Act on the Integration of Persons with Disabilities and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
