Thursday ended a 3-days prospecting tour of the prestigious hotel chain Marriott. The delegation of Marriott, looking for new investment opportunities in Haiti, was welcomed Tuesday by the Secretary of State, Jessy Menos and Dieudonne Etienne Luma, The delegation was led by Kathleen Matthews, Head of Communications and Public Affairs, Marriott, This delegation was composed of three senior executives of the company : Michael Dail, Jane Segal Himelstein and John Wolf.

Wednesday, members of the delegation met at the Observatory Boutilliers, with Balmir Villedrouin the Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries.

During their stay, the delegation flew, the departments of West, Central and the Great North and Bassin Zim visited the National Historical Park and Labadee.

Executives of the hotel group, have also explored the South-East with guided tours to Bassin Bleu and historical center of Jacmel.

Recall that Marriott will inaugurate its first hotel property in Haiti in February 2015.
