Haiti - Reconstruction : 4 projects will be inaugurated in Port-de-Paix

A governmental delegation led by the Secretary General of the Primature, Lucien Francoeur, recently conducted an assessment visit of 9 infrastructure projects of special plan of Port-de-Paix. December 8th will be inaugurated 4 of these projects: the Place d'Armes, the Sports Park Capois La Mort, the Memorial Capois La Mort, and the beautiful entrance of Port-de-Paix, informed the Francoeur, Coordinator of this Special Plan.

In addition, other projects such as the construction of a sports park, the rehabilitation of market in iron, the construction of 7 km road and the rehabilitation of 5 km of sidewalks, the construction of a sub police station, soil conservation works are in progress.

The Special Plan of Port-de-Paix is a great achievement believes Mr. Francoeur "Never before major infrastructure projects had been undertaken in Port-de-Paix."

Estimated at 5 million US dollars, the Special Plan of Port-de-Paix aims to sustainably improve the living conditions of the population and rebuild the image of this town, long neglected by previous governments.
