Haiti - Politic : Laurent Lamothe inaugurated several projects in Port-de-Paix

Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe, accompanied by a governmental delegation and senators Lucas Saint-vil, Wencesclas Lambert and Melius Hyppolite conducted yesterday Monday, in Port-de-Paix, a tour during which he proceeded to the inauguration of the Place d'Armes and the memorial Capois-La-Mort.

Greeted by a cheering crowd, the head of government expressed his great satisfaction of seeing that the realization of nine projects of special plan of Port-de-Paix transformed this town into a vast construction site. Are being implemented the rehabilitation of 7 kilometers of road and five kilometers of sidewalks, the construction of a multi-sports park and the rehabilitation of the Iron Market.

The Prime Minister took advantage of this tour to meet with officials of the Regional Directorate of Ed'H around electricity issues faced by the Northwest population in order to provide concrete solutions.

Funded to the tune of 40 million US dollars, 14 special plans implemented in eight departments of the country participate in the real will of the Government Martelly-Lamothe to assist the most vulnerable populations in the country.
