Following the announcement of the parties of the radical opposition and Fanmi Lavalas, of the Dialogue Table of their intention to disrupt the economic activities during the period of the end of year celebrations by organizing demonstrations on 24 and 25 December and 1 January 2015.
The former President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Haiti, Jean-Robert Argant, General Coordinator of the Collective of 4 December, appealed to opposition leaders in order they sign and respect a holy truce with the three branches of government during the period of end of year celebrations for the well-being of the population.
The group believes that the time is not to the recriminations, accusations or the review of faults and also urges politicians to fully assume their responsibilities in peace. In addition, the Collective asks the Executive Power, including the President of the Republic to continue on the path of dialogue by meeting the main opponent in an attempt to break the deadlock. Finally, the Collective urges the population to provide its full support to the development anddefinitively put an end to the actions that are tearing the social of Haiti.
