Haiti - Culture : Exhibition «12 January 2010 - 12 January 2015 : Haiti Reborn»

Five years after the earthquake of 12 January 2010, 12 young painters of "Kalfou Richès" from various neighborhoods of the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince positively want to celebrate that date.

The Office of the Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister Responsible for Human Rights and the Fight against Poverty Extreme is pleased to invite you to the painting exhibition "12 January 2010 - 12 January 2015 : Haiti Reborn".

Through sixty paintings (acrylic on canvas), these talented young artists, mainly want to send a message of hope, love and rebirth, and make us understand that we can collectively build a Nation that is both serene and prosperous.

The opening of this exhibition will be held Monday, January 12, 2015 at 9:30 am at the National Library located at 193 street of Centre (opposite the Institution St. Louis de Gonzague). The works will be exhibited from 12 to 24 January 2015, daily, to the operating hours of the library. Marie Carmelle Rose Anne Auguste, Minister Delegate in Charge of Human Rights and the Fight Against Poverty Extreme, invites you to visit this cultural event and please you to receive her patriotic greetings.

"Kalfou Richès" is an artistic creation program initiated by the Office of the Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister Responsible for Human Rights and the Fight against Extreme Poverty. This program aims the valuation of wealth who sleep in our artists, craftsmen and valiant workers in sensitive areas of the country. This is to take all appropriate measures to free the artistic potential of these young talents and suffering a situation of extreme poverty.
