On Sunday, Prime Minister Paul closed the work of the Administrative retreat of the Primature held this weekend at the Indigo club. He praised the work of the participants in the retreat which according to him are "a real institutional diagnosis by the analysis of strengths and weaknesses of our structures whose results should allow the Primature to better articulate the role of orientation and strategic coordination [...]"

During these two days, Evans Paul shared with executives, technicians and coordinators of the decentralized bodies of the vision of a modern and effective institution at the service of the population and of socio-economic development of the country.

In his interventions the Head of Government wished the one hand, that the Primature fulfill its political, administrative and technical functions "In perfect harmony and greater cohesion" and secondly, a better articulation of the relationship between the Primature and the Presidency, to achieve "effective coordination of government action in the interests of the population."

In this context, the Prime Minister called on staff to always have, as a compass, the culture of results, while urging them to communicate with public opinion and to facilitate a proximity between the powers of the state and society.

This retreat was also the occasion for the General Coordinators of the different decentralized agencies to present their objectives, achievements and obstacles they face in fulfilling their mission.

The Prime Minister has realigned the role of strategic coordination bodies and of decentralized organs and related with the activities of central structures and other administration, as part of the commitments of the electoral campaign of President Michel Martelly.

At the end of this retreat, the Prime Minister announced include: the development of a proposal for a

Administrative Procedures Manual of the Primature, of the Organic Law and a Haitian legistics guide. Before leaving with the participants, Evans Paul promised to help them in the performance of their work, "I'll be there to support you. Together we will walk everyone, towards a better Haiti, with a stronger public service, more efficient and focused on public service."
