In a note, the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, congratulates all the forces of the Nation and "invites them to continue to exercise tolerance, sense of responsibility and patriotism in the exercise of their civil and political rights."

In that same note, the Ministry congratulates the police officers for their "courage, determination, sense of sacrifice and professionalism in the performance of their noble and difficult tasks which is to protect the lives and property at any time, in any place and in any circumstance.

The Ministry encourages once again the police officers to continue to demonstrate the same exemplary behavior in the upcoming carnival festivities and reiterates its firm commitment to support them and its commitment to improve their working condition."

Finally, the Ministry invites the population to "fully cooperate with the police to enable them to better protect and serve it."
