On Sunday, President Michel Martelly and his wife Sophia Martelly, attended in the presence of tens of thousands of revelers from everywhere, at the National Carnival 2015, the most popular cultural event in Haiti, held this year on the theme "Nou tout se Ayiti".

The official parade took place in a festive atmosphere where dozens of masked groups and walking bands, along with 16 musical groups offered a beautiful colorful show where dance and choreography were at the rendezvous. 8 allegorical floats representing with respect the deep traditions, cultural identity and the tourism potential of Haiti also marched to the cheers of a large crowd in jubilation.

28 young girls were selected to scroll over the three days. Among them, Miss Wadley Belans, the First Queen will represent Nippes on the chariot sponsored by the National Credit Bank (BNC). 16 young men were also selected whose the King of Kings, John Pierre, from the North, who will represent his department on the chariot sponsored by the Presidency.

The President Martelly believes that the organization of the National Carnival, is an opportunity for Haiti to sell a better image of our country and attract tourists and investors.
