Amos Cincir, the President of the Republic of Government Youth of Haiti (GJH-Haiti) accompanied by his Prime Minister, Nathanaël Noël, conducted an exchange visit to the Secretary of State's Office for Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH), Gérald Oriol Jr., to reflect on the problem of support and inclusion of people with disabilities.

This meeting allowed to take stock around the 6 objectives pursued by Gérald Oriol Jr.: institutional strengthening; facilitate access to education for persons with disabilities; increase access to people with disabilities; promote the development of adequate physical infrastructure; promote legal framework for people with special needs and a mental health policy.

The visit of the Government Youth is part of a partnership between the BSEIPH and the Government Cincir-Noel, to promote the cause of people with disabilities in Haiti. After the meeting, the Government Youth concluded to create a space for people with reduced mobility, in all its activities and also to participate in all activities aimed at promote this important layer of Haitian society.

The Secretary of State, Oriol Jr., welcomed the visit of GJH and the the interest shown to the disability sector of the Haitian population. He said to believed in the will of GJH to work with the Bureau to achieve common goals.
