Haiti - Economy : 4th Edition of the Day of the Haitian diaspora in Montreal

Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. will be celebrated the 4th Edition of the "Day of the Haitian Diaspora and heart friends" at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM), in the room Marie-Gérin-Lajoie, Pavilion Judith-Jasmin, 405, St-Catherine East (Berri-UQAM) on the theme "Investment and business relationship, Québec-Haiti-Canada". On this occasion more than 50 exhibitors, more than 25 speakers, government officials , NGOs, private companies will be present in addition to a business networking dinner, contests and sweepstakes.

The purpose of this day is to promote the contribution of the Haitian diaspora in its society and to Haiti; promote trade between Quebec, Canada's largest cities, and Haiti; develop business links between the Montreal Haitian diaspora and Quebec and Canadian companies; acknowledge the support and business investment and the Haitian community organizations; explore different forms that can take the economic development and the relations between economic partners; create a link between Haitians living abroad and in Haiti; and project in the host country, Haitian cultural values and a positive image of the Haitian people.
