Haiti - Economy : 5 Haitian personalities honored

Tuesday, Prime Minister Evans Paul went to the hotel Karibe for the opening of the 5th International Summit on Finance and Applied Technology where he presented plaques of honor to 5 personalities from the business sectors, honored by the Group Croissance.

"Congratulations to Pierre Léger as entrepreneur of the year [Agri Supply exporter of essential oils]. Congratulations also go to Coby Almedor the innovative Exporter of the Year [agricultural products : Veritab, kenèp, korosòl, etc... to the USA, Canada, and to England]

I congratulate the experienced banker a drien Castera [2nd Vice President Unibank], on the occasion of its entry in the pantheon of Haitian finance. Congratulations to Claude Pierre-Louis [CEO, Sogebank] recognized for his leadership and contribution to the development of the Haitian banking sector and Jean Philippe Prospère [Vice-President of the International Finance Corporation] [....] These distinctions made by the Group Croissance inspire the rising generation [...]

I believe that Haiti is in a different register: that of growth. This 5th Summit is the privileged place of public policy emanation. The dynamization of exports is a strategy of the policy overhaul of the state's public policy. We must reflect on the possible role of the system of insurance."

[...] The need to create a climate of political stability is becoming a necessity. The time has come to increase domestic production," concluded the Prime Minister.

The 5th International Summit on Finance and Applied Technology will continue until Friday https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-13643-haiti-economy-5th-summit-on-finance-and-technology.html
