Thursday, April 30 in New York, the team of the Investment Facilitation Center (CFI) will participate in Nexus 2015 which will take place at Apella, Event Space at Alexandria Center.

Nexus 2015 is a high-level event for executives whose work is oriented towards investment, public procurement, information technology and professional Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). The event, which will bring a deeper look of the necessity for customers, suppliers and key decision makers, to implement new measures and strategies to better manage their investments and partnerships in the region, it is designed to stimulate dialogue between the participants on opportunities, risks and benefits of the development of strategic relations in Latin America, while providing opportunities for networking and exchange.

For the CFI team, this will be an opportunity to promote Haiti again, as close and competitive destination for BPO in the region and highlight the opportunity that can offer Haiti for many needs of the BPO companies the Information Technology and Communication (ICT)

More than two dozen experts will participate in the summit and several notable speakers including :

• Francisco (Paco) Palmieri, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Central America and the Caribbean, at US State Department ;

• Atefeh (Atti) Riazi "Chief Information Officer" (United Nations) ;

• Andy Nixon, Director Global IT Service Management (Corning) ;

• Tim Norton, Director, Vendor Management (UPS) ;

• Gabriel Rozman, Former President (TCS Ibroamericas) ;

• Michael Moore, vice president of operations of call centers (Sirius) ;

• John DeMassi, Director, Special Projects (Liberty Insurance Mutual) ;

• Iris Trout, Vice President US Technology Solutions (TD Bank).

The Investment Facilitation Center (CFI) in Haiti was established by presidential decree in 2006 and placed under the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MCI). This is an investment promotion agency, which provides technical support and administrative assistance to investors.
