Haiti - NOTICE : True school uniform, fake student...

In a statement, the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP), informs the public in general and the educational community in particular that "agents of the educational community Police EDUPOL, intercepted Wednesday during their patrols, a young boy pretending to be a student of the high school Toussaint Louverture.

Following initial information obtained, this person first identified by the name of Alex Chéry and then Gustave Wenley, it turned out that it was never part of the Toussaint Louverture high school students while wearing the uniform of the school, within the school.

The Director of the school Toussaint Louverture, confirmed that that person is not in any record of the establishment. He denounces the dishonest and disturbing act where malicious individuals pretend to be high school students.

MENFP wants to alert the school community on these extremely serious facts of 'fake students' when a real battle is initiated by the Ministry against the school violence and other non-standard practices, which may affect the academic success of young people.

MENFP congratulate EDUPOL agents for their student mentoring work to prevent drift and secure the perimeter of the school buildings, and welcomes the first effects of the campaign of civic education and civic values.

The Ministry of Education invites the public and educational agents to give their full support to the agents of the EDUPOL, who contribute through their actions to the academic success of our children."
