Closed since 1988, the Ciné théâtre Triomphe fully rehabilitated at a cost of 7 million US dollars, including purchases of additional space (work started in December 2012), will finally be inaugurated on May 18 after being postponed in August 2014, due to parking problems now solved, information confirmed by Prime Minister Evans Paul.

According to available information, the Triomphe will include a first room with a capacity of 450 seats with a stage that can support fifty artists, a theater system HD Digital, a screen of 12m x 6.5m mounted on removable frame (a first in Haiti); a professional digital audio system separate of cinema audio system and an automated lighting system. This room also include large lodges for the needs of artists. This multipurpose hall is designed to accommodate performances (dance, theater, concert) and film projections.

The second room with a capacity of approximately 300 seats has the same equipment and can also receive lectures.

The third room is equipped to host conferences, meetings, seminars and forums

The fourth room was removed to allow the expansion and the establishment of new development.

On 18 May (Flag Day), moviegoers will finally be able to take place at Ciné Théâtre Triomphe for entertaining.
