Chavannes Jean Baptiste, Presidential candidate under the banner of the party "Kontrapep La" complains about the difficulties faced by candidates in the municipal and local elections to obtain the required documents. 1,006 pre-registered candidates for local elections

Since May 4, 1,006 candidates for municipal and local positions have pre-registered online (302 mayor, 326 for a position in Boards of Communal Sections (CASEC), 245 to a position in Administration of Communal Sections (ASEC) and 127 as a city delegate. Candidates have until May 23 to file their documents physically.

Judgments of BCEN still waiting...

All findings appeal was heard before the National Electoral Office of Litigation (BCEN). On Monday, the electoral judges of the different rooms were still under deliberation to decide on appeals. In the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), no one is able to tell when the verdicts will be made, which prevents the final publications of candidates for the Senate and the deputation.
