The Principal Inspector, Garry Desrosiers, Deputy Spokesman of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) announced that the PNH had dismantled a network of criminals who recruited and trained young people on behalf of the PNH, among others to the use of firearms. He indicated that one of the heads of this network (which has already formed many young people), would be a young police officer, Jerry Toussain, recently graduated of the 25th promotion of the National Police.

He informed that 4 individuals suspected of belonging to this network had already been arrested and 5 other members of the network including Jerry Toussaint, are actively sought by the police.

According to Inspector Desrosiers the ole objective of this network was to tarnish the image of the PNH, however, one may wonder whether this network did not pursue another objective, than that to harm the image of the police force...
