More than 20 days after the National Plan for the Regularization of Foreigners living in irregular migratory situation in the Dominican Republic and the early voluntary return of our compatriots (over 40,000 to date), no adequate structure has yet been put in place by the authorities to the Haitian border to receive returnees in dignity, lamented Beaubrun St Pierre, Coordinator of the Support Group for Returnees and Refugees (GAAR).
