Haiti - NOTICE : Ban on carrying weapons in Petit-Goâve
In a note of the West Departmental Directorate, Municipal Commissioner of Petit-Goâve, Barreau Serge inform the public in general and candidates in particular that "during the campaign period, the National Police of Haiti is the only institution authorized to carry firearms in the jurisdiction.
Consequently, any individual caught in the act with a firearm (artisanal or not) will fall within the scope of the law.
Furthermore, anyone who had noticed a motorcycle traveling without its sticker number, must be reported to the police by a phone call or an SMS at the following numbers 509 - 4834-1714 / 509- 4834-1737"
