Haiti - Pan American Games : A Haitian in athletics final

Good news:

Tuesday at the Pan American Games held in Toronto, Jessica Gelibert participated in the women's 400m hurdles and qualified for the final, with a time of 57.58 seconds (Qualified for its performance), it is her best time for the season.

That same day, Darell Wesh, participated in to the eliminatory 100m men and qualified for the semifinals with a time of 10.24 seconds (Qualified for its performance).

The final of the 400m hurdle woman, and the semi final of the 100m men will take place this Wednesday, July 22, 2015.

Mauvaises nouvelles :

Aniya Louissaint in Taekwondo 67kg women participated in the 1/8 eliminatory and faced the Colombian Adanys Cordero, the fight ended 3-1 in favor of Cordero (2 Points earned by attack, and 1 point earned by penalty) against one point earned by attack for Louissaint, the competition stops there for Aniya Louissaint.

Pascale Delaunay in Triple jump woman, has realized in her first attempt 12.28m (13th), 2nd attempt 12.71m (15th), third attempt 12.35m (16th), for an average of 12.35 meters, not being in the top 8, competition stops there for our athlete, ranked 16th and last place.

Note that gold was won by Colombian Caterine Ibarguen with 15.09m, silver by Brazilian Keila Coasta with 14.50m and bronze by the Colombian Yosiry Urrutia with 14.38m.
