Haiti - Security : 3 billsticker shot dead in Carrefour

Wednesday around 10:00 pm in the neighborhood of the Avenue Christophe Chanel (commune of Carrefour), 3 men Shiller Anthony (32 years), Roody Raphaël (33 years) and Jackson Pierre (42 years) were shot dead by unidentified assailants traveling on a motorcycle.

Witnesses said the 3 men putting up posters of Jacques Beauvil, parliamentary candidate for the constituency of Carrefour under the banner "VERITE". The victims' bodies were found early Thursday morning and transported to the morgue after the observation by the Peace Judge Frantz Ducas.

According to Jacques Beauvil this is a plot against him, claiming that those shot dead were his supporters, pointing an accusing finger at his opponent Elie Blaise parliamentary candidate under the banner of PHTK.

However, the police who opened an investigation, is not able to establish the reasons and circumstances of this triple murder, or even confirm or deny that they are related to the elections, due to a contaminated crime scene and the disappearance of many indices, including the posters that are absent from the minutes stated Commissioner Walman Cétoute.
