The Ministry of National Education has just published the list of books 70% subsidized by the State in order to support families the occasion of the new school year, academic year 2015-2016. This list is intended to allow general public and the education community in particular to be better informed of the prices of books subsidized by the State, with the publishers involved.

The books concerned mainly concern the first two cycles of basic education. Some titles are found in some subjects at the third cycle.

Note that for public fundamental schools, about 800,000 books will be given as a loan (endowment ) to students. The books will then be returned to the school administrator at the end of the school year for other generations of children.

MENFP recalled that the sale of books in "endowment" is strictly prohibited. Moreover, prices of subsidized books must be respected by the sellers of the place. Any attitude contrary will be sanctioned in accordance with the Act and regulations in the matter.
