Sunday, the Champ de Mars welcomed the athletics competitions of the Cup of the Presidency. Four male categories and four female categories took part : U-13, U-15, U-17 and U-20.

Jimmy Albert, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC), Jean Max Saint Albin, the Director General of the Ministry and Cabinet members took their seats on the official stand to attend these competitions.

The Minister Albert addressed the participants before giving the kickoff of the various competitions.

Before the award ceremony, the Minister Albert, accompanied by the Director General, Mr. Saint Albin and Haitian marathon runner Dieudonné Lamothe congratulated the young participants while reminding them that sport can offer them a better quality of life, inviting young people to move away from all pathways to delinquency .

After the speech of the Minister, the youth climbed in turn the podium to receive their medals.
