Haiti - Dajabon : Dozens of evangelists turned back at border

Dozens of evangelical of the Haitian Pentecostal Church who were holding a pastoral encounter in the Dominican Republic, were prevented from entering Dajabón through preventive measures against cholera adopted by the Dominican authorities. Given the refusal of the Dominican authorities, evangelicals met in Haiti in the areas of Bomba, the Javilla y el Pomar.

René Paul Goiter, a Haitian evangelists, who managed to enter Dominican territory briefly, said that the Pentecostal Church aimed the elimination of the practice of voodoo and witchcraft, which is responsible for disasters and diseases that affect Haiti.
