Tuesday, September 1 at the Champ de Mars of the Training School for army soldiers (ESFORSE), located at the northern exit of Ambato, 3rd city of the country, province of Tungurahua at south of Quito (capital of Ecuador), was held the graduation ceremony of 40 new Haitian soldiers of engineering body.

The ceremony was chaired by Brigadier General, Edison Narváez Rosero, Commander of the Command of Education and Doctrine of the Army (CEDE), in the presence of General Carlos Obando, commander of the army division, Christian Toussaint, Ambassador of Haiti in Ecuador, José Maria Egas, Undersecretary of the Ministerial Cabinet and civil and military authorities.

This course lasted 8 months https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-12914-haiti-security-training-of-40-aspiring-haitian-soldiers-in-ecuador.html during which they also received individual instruction of combat to the "Escuela de Ingenieros de Combate" (Esinco) in Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas.

These 40 new Haitian soldiers, formed by the Ecuadorian army, will contribute in Haiti in the tasks assigned by their superiors including reconstruction and development in various fields.
