According Nesmy Manigat, the Minister of National Education, the inauguration of the new Lycées Toussaint Louverture and Alexandre Pétion will take place next week, even if there are small jobs to finish, that will require students to cohabit during the transition.

Since September 7, the day of the school year, these two schools financed to the tune of 15 million US dollars by the PetroCaribe Fund welcome students in rotation until the inauguration of new buildings.

Recall that the construction of these two high schools were carried out by the firm IBT Group Haiti, office of the multinational IBT (headquartered in Miami FL) under the supervision of CSA Group, the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation, acting as project manager.

Note that IBT Group has already built in Haiti among others : the Public Market of Fontamara the Simbo Contiental hospital and various sports facilities.
