In a circular, Nesmy Manigat the Ministry of National Education informs the population that the public and private schools will not work this Monday, October 26th.

"In order to facilitate the operations of cleaning of schools that served as voting center in the country for municipal, parliamentary and presidential elections, held Sunday, October 25, 2015, the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) informs that the public and private schools will not work Monday, October 26.

MENFP took the opportunity to commend all the staff of the Ministry mobilized to enable the smooth conduct of voting in public schools.

MENFP particularly thank the support staff of fundamental and secondary schools of the Republic for this citizen action for the renewal of political staff."

Moreover, following this decision, the Prime Minister Paul clarified that "It is only the school that does not work this Monday, October 26th. All employees of the state, police officers, and others, continue their activity as it should."
