Friday, Jimmy Albert, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action, accompanied by Kénelt Leveille, President of the Haitian Cycling Federation (FHC), officially launched the Discovery Race.

Sunday, December 6, 40 cyclists will be on the starting line for this competition which will take place over 66 kilometers, 20 times the trail : Ave. Magny - Rue Magloire Ambroise - Rue Légitime - Rue Capois - Ave Jn Paul II - Ave. Charles Summer - Ave. Magny.

This competition is the 5th organized with the FHC, in order to deliver a great show to the public with the participation of several women cyclists and of Brothers Duré who made the most beautiful pages of the Haitian cycling [Roger Duré one of Brothers Duré died in September 2015].

Albert The Minister took the opportunity to thank the Duré Brothers, who have invested heavily in organizing this competition to which they made a point to participate. He also urged Haitian youth to engage in sport and away from alcohol, drugs and crime while inviting the public to encourage Haitian and foreign cyclists invited to the Discovery Race.
