Haiti - Diplomacy : Two new ambassadors accredited

Monday at the National Palace, the President Michel Martelly received the credentials of two new Ambassadors accredited to Haiti. They are the Ambassador Sharon Isabel Cambell (United Kingdom) and Ambassador Marcelo Apicella (Italy).

These new Ambassadors reiterated the commitment of their respective countries to accompany the President of Haiti in its efforts to improve the living conditions of the Haitian population. For his part, the Head of State assured them of his willingness to work to strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between Haiti and their countries.

Subsequently, the two new diplomats have visited the Haitian National Pantheon Museum (MUPANAH) for floral offerings in memory of the Fathers of the Haitian Fatherland, followed by a guided tour of the Museum's exhibition rooms after being greeted by Michèle G. Frisch, the Director General of the institution.
