Haiti - Politic : The G8 call to the mobilization for the Front of Refusal

In reaction to the report of the Independent Electoral Commission of Evaluation the G8 issued a statement in which it reiterates its demand for "the resignation of the CEP" and the "establishment of a Provisional Government responsible for making all arrangements to complete the process in a transparent manner."

Regarding the publication of the report it states having taken note "without surprise", adding that the commission was "unilaterally formed by the Executive with government supporters and figures related to the cause of international."

Concerning work at CTV https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-16245-haiti-elections-what-found-the-commission-at-ctv.html the G8 indicates that according to the percentages obtained in the evaluation of PV, the election of October 25 "was an operation of massive fraud, ballot stuffing and serious irregularities."

With regard to the recommendations and conclusions https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-16231-haiti-elections-the-recommendations-of-the-commission-of-electoral-evaluation.html of the Commission the G8 indicates that the "politicians of the Commission [...] too dependent on Executive and international, have not had the courage to draw conclusions related to this observation as recommendations. They preferred to demonstrate magination to rescue the Executive rendering null and of fundamental nullity their recommendations [...] The Commission has not answered any of those questions for which it was created," adding that the G8 "notes that the Commission is unable to identify the candidates who have qualified for the second turn and to indicate the scores obtained by each candidate involved in the race [...] "

"The G8 reiterated its request to the pluralistic political opposition to come together to form the Front of Refusal that will allow us to save what can still be and preparing for post February 7 in serenity."

The G8 supports the peaceful popular demonstrations organized throughout the country to force the Executive and the CEP to respect the verdict of the polls," concludes the statement signed by Samuel Madistin.
