Wednesday, the Principal Inspector, Garry Desrosiers, Deputy Spokesman of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) presented a review of the operations of the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ), for the period from 20 December 2015 to January 6, 2016.

During this period DCPJ has made 36 arrests for various crimes including among others: killings, assassinations, attempted assassinations, rape of minors, vehicle thefts, burglaries at night by armed robbery and kidnapping simulation.

Among these arrests include: 5 suspected murderers of the Chief Inspector Daniel Pierre, assassinated December 23 in Delmas 31 https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-16157-icihaiti-flash-25th-police-officer-shot-dead-this-year.html they are : Maxo Félix, Réginald Ducleus, Osner Pierre, Richard Mercidieu and Jean Robert Jean Noel ; Lafortune Jean Myrtho, a Chief of a gang of Warf Jérémie, was arrested for vehicle theft and murder ; Patrick Pierre and Tison Lindor for rape of minors ; Andy Délouis and Sadouna Pierre sexual assault on minors and Kedy Charles arrested in connection with his participation in the murder of two police officers in October 2015. In addition, Emmanuelli Salomon, a nurse was arrested for having organized in December 2015, a simulation of her kidnapping by becoming voluntarily sequestered at the house of a person to obtain a sum of 25,000 US dollars.
